Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsi met with Mohamed Hano, chairman of the Alexandria Businessmen Association, at the Ministry of Social Solidarity headquarters in New Alamein City.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the ministry and the Alexandria Businessmen Association in the field of economic empowerment for the most needy families, particularly as the association operates in financing micro-enterprises.
The Minister of Social Solidarity reviewed the association’s operations, which now include 138 branches across 21 governorates involved in microfinance. The association aims to provide financial and non-financial services while investing in human and technological resources to support and develop small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The meeting also discussed cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the association in implementing training programs for beneficiaries of the conditional cash transfer program “Takaful and Karama” on economic empowerment projects, as part of the ministry’s vision to transition from support to empowerment and production. Additionally, cooperation was discussed between the ministry’s Rural and Environmental Industries Support Fund and the association for the upcoming period.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Medhat El-Qadi, Deputy Chairman of the association; Nermin Mamish, board member; Eng. Ahmed Mansy, board member; legal advisor to the Ministry of Social Solidarity Karim Qalawy; and Hisham Mohamed, the minister’s office director.

التقت الدكتورة مايا مرسي وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي، محمد هنو رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية رجال أعمال إسكندرية، وذلك بمقر وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي بمدينة العلمين الجديدة. n nوشهد الاجتماع بحث التعاون بين الوزارة وجمعية رجال أعمال إسكندرية في مجالات التمكين الاقتصادي للأسر الأكثر احتياجاً، خاصة أن الجمعية تعمل في تمويل المشروعات متناهية الصغر. n nواطلعت وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي على مجالات عمل الجمعية، التي دخلت بفروعها التي تبلغ 138 فرعا في 21 محافظة في مشروع التمويل المتناهي الصغر، حيث تهدف الجمعية تقديم خدمات تمويلية وغير تمويلية مع الاستثمار في الموارد البشرية والتكنولوجية لدعم وتنمية أصحاب الأنشطة والمشروعات الصغيرة. n nكما تناول الاجتماع، التعاون والتنسيق بين الوزارة والجمعية في تنفيذ عدد من البرامج التدريبية لمستفيدي برنامج الدعم النقدي المشروط ” تكافل وكرامة” على مشروعات التمكين الاقتصادي، وذلك في إطار رؤية عمل الوزارة للانتقال من الدعم للتمكين والإنتاج، فضلا عن التعاون بين صندوق دعم الصناعات الريفية والبيئية التابع للوزارة والجمعية خلال الفترة المقبلة. n nحضر اللقاء المهندس مدحت القاضي نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية، ونرمين مميش عضو مجلس الإدارة، والمهندس أحمد منسي عضو مجلس الإدارة، والمستشار كريم قلاوي المستشار القانوني لوزارة التضامن الاجتماعي، وهشام محمد مدير مكتب الوزيرة.
