KUWAIT, July 5 (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Minister of Oil, Tareq Al-Roumi, emphasized the country’s strong backing for OPEC+ initiatives designed to promote stability in the international oil markets. Al-Roumi led the Kuwaiti delegation at a virtual meeting held on July 5, 2025, which included eight OPEC+ nations, according to a statement from the Ministry of Oil. The meeting, which focused on voluntary production cuts, concluded with an agreement to raise output by 548,000 barrels per day beginning in August 2025.
