The Fahem Foundation for psychological support, led by Ambassador Nabilah Makram, chairperson of the board of trustees, will take part on Thursday, August 21, in the second edition of the Arab Youth Media Creativity Summit 2025, held in New Alamein City. The event will feature a specialized workshop organized by the foundation at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, titled “My Identity, My Strength: Youth and Social Media Without Pressure.”
Ambassador Nabilah Makram emphasized the need for new tools to support youth mental well-being amid the rapid changes driven by the digital world. She explained that the workshop aims to reconnect young people with their roots and personal identity, helping them build inner confidence and emotional balance.
Dr. Lamees Naguib, advisor to the chairperson of the Financial Regulatory Authority and board member of the Fahem Foundation, highlighted the importance of integrating psychological and economic empowerment in youth development. She noted that mental health has become essential for achieving sustainable development, adding that discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation must include mental well-being.
She stated, “Supporting youth awareness is an investment in the future, and Fahem’s participation in this summit reflects that commitment.”
Sitting Member of Parliament Saha Saeed, the foundation’s executive director, affirmed that the initiative aligns with Fahem’s mission to strengthen youth resilience, particularly in the face of challenges posed by social media and daily life pressures. The workshop is designed to help Arab youth reinforce their cultural foundations, foster a positive sense of identity, and engage with digital platforms mindfully—reducing psychological strain and preparing a generation better equipped to navigate the digital era.
