China’s trade envoy meets US officials to discuss economic ties
BEIJING, Aug 30 (Reuters) – China’s trade representative Li Chenggang visited the United States from August 27-29, holding discussions with U.S. officials on bilateral economic and trade relations, the Chinese commerce ministry said on Saturday.

Li met with representatives from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Department of Commerce, and Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to exchange views on the implementation of prior agreements.
