قال الدكتور محمد الشوادفي الخبير الاقتصادي، إن ارتفاع أسعار الوقود الأخيرة جاء نتيجة اتفاق مع صندوق النقد الدولى وتنفيذ سياسة مصر الاقتصادية، على أساس استكمال تحرير سعر المحروقات. n nوأوضح محمد الشوادفى، خلال مداخلة لقناة إكسترا نيوز، أن ارتفاع أسعار المحروقات حاليا عن السعر الذى قررته الدولة يأتى نتيجة جشع بعض التجار ورفعهم للأسعار بنسب مبالغ فيها، وعلى المحافظين والغرف التجارية أن تقوم بدور نشط فى مكافحة هذا الارتفاع وعدم الجرى وراء الشائعات. n nوشدد محمد الشوادفى، على أنه يجب أن تكون هناك رقابة من المواطن باعتسابره هو من يتأثر بهذه الزيادة ويدفع فاتورة الشراء بالعزوف الشعبى عن التعامل مع التجار الجشعين، إضافة إلى رقابة المحافظين للأسعار فى السوق وتوفير الدولة سلع بأسعار منافسة فى أماكن محددة من خلال الكيانات الاجتماعية ودور حماية المستهلك. n nوأوضح محمد الشوادفى، أن حماية المستهلك وثقافة المواطن ودور الحكومة فى توفير السلع يساعد فى القضاء على جشع التجار.
