Areas discussed included supporting industrialization, expanding trade, encouraging joint investments, enhancing food and water security, technology transfer, and cultural exchanges. The importance of activating the African Continental Free Trade Agreement was underscored, along with enabling African nations to integrate more effectively into the global economy and advocating for financial reforms that address the needs of developing countries and alleviate debt burdens.
On political and regional matters, Abdel Atty pointed out a shared understanding on critical principles, including strengthening national institutions to confront security threats, particularly terrorism.
