Morris has served as Albertsons’ Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) since January 2018, leading retail operations across more than 2,200 stores in 34 states. With nearly four decades of experience in the retail grocery industry, she has held various leadership roles within Albertsons, including EVP of regional operations, division president in two markets, and other positions in merchandising and operations. Her career in retail began at an Albertsons store in the Denver market.
In addition to her role at Albertsons, Morris serves on the boards of IDACORP Inc. and FMI – The Food Industry Association. A graduate of Colorado State University, she has received multiple accolades for her contributions to the grocery industry, including a Trailblazer Award and recognition as a Top Woman in Grocery by Progressive Grocer.
Albertsons has also reaffirmed its fiscal 2024 outlook, originally shared during its third-quarter earnings report in January. The company anticipates identical sales growth between 1.8% and 2.0%, adjusted EBITDA in the range of $3.95 billion to $3.99 billion, adjusted net income per Class A common share between $2.25 and $2.31, an effective income tax rate of 15% to 16%, and capital expenditures between $1.8 billion and $1.9 billion.
