Coolest Cars at the 2025 New York International Auto Show

The 2025 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) marks its 125th anniversary, showcasing a variety of new models despite tariff concerns. Among the highlights are several intriguing vehicles. The Subaru Trailseeker, an early look at Subaru’s second EV, offers updated styling and improved off-road capabilities. Kia debuted the EV4, an affordable EV with regenerative braking technology, and introduced the Nightfall edition of the EV9, featuring all-black accents inside and out.

Genesis unveiled the X Gran Equator concept, a luxury overlander with potential EV powertrain capabilities. Lucid displayed the Gravity, a three-row electric SUV with fast-charging capabilities and a top range of 450 miles. Hyundai showcased the Ioniq 5 N TA spec, which set a record at Pike’s Peak for the electric modified SUV/crossover class.

Maserati presented the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal version of its GT2 race car, boasting impressive specs and a carbon monocoque design. Lastly, the Chrysler 6 prototype made a historical appearance, featuring the industry’s first four-wheel hydraulic brakes and a six-cylinder engine.
