An American Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Naples was diverted to Rome due to the aircraft being too large for the original destination. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner landed at Rome Fiumicino Airport because of operational limitations. Passengers were then transported by bus to Naples, a journey of approximately three hours. American Airlines apologized for the disruption.
