Irapuato, Gto., June 15, 2025 — The Guanajuato state government has launched an integrated program called “Mujeres al Frente: Economic and Personal Empowerment” to strengthen the economic and personal development of women entrepreneurs. This initiative combines training, certification, and the provision of productive projects to maximize the potential of local businesses.
Under the leadership of Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, the state administration prioritizes generating prosperity for women through strategies promoting financial independence and economic empowerment. Claudia Cristina Villaseñor Aguilar, Secretary of the Economy, explained that the program certifies women in labor competencies, enhancing their economic and personal skills to boost financial autonomy and active participation in local economic development.
The program targets women beneficiaries of productive projects across the state’s 46 municipalities, offering theoretical and practical training in areas such as sales techniques, negotiation, customer management, digital marketing, and effective communication. Participants receive official state and federal certifications, formally recognizing their acquired skills.
As part of the initiative, beneficiaries are provided with business equipment to professionalize and grow their ventures. Specialized mentorship is also offered in collaboration with business chambers, organizations, and universities to ensure continuous guidance and sustainable business practices.
“Mujeres al Frente” is a comprehensive program empowering women to lead their projects confidently and independently. This reaffirms the government’s commitment to fostering women’s autonomy and professionalization, contributing to a more inclusive and equitable economic development in Guanajuato.
