SEDETI Strengthens Ties with Local Companies to Boost Economic Development

Tijuana’s Mayor, Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, along with the Tijuana Economic Development Secretariat (SEDETI), is enhancing collaboration with the industrial sector to promote regional growth. SEDETI’s head, Pedro Montejo Peterson, stated that visits to local businesses aim to understand their processes, projects, and growth prospects as part of a strategy to maintain ongoing dialogue and address their needs. Notable visits include SMK Electrónica, a global electronic components manufacturer, and HP/POLY, which has operated in Tijuana for over 50 years, producing 50% of its global output and employing more than 3,500 workers.
