Ahmed Kouchouk, Egypt’s Minister of Finance, emphasized the importance of media in advancing economic integration among Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries during a meeting with Dr. Amr El-Leithy, head of the Union of Radio and Television Organizations of OIC nations and vice president of the Cinema Industry Chamber.
The minister highlighted the need to strengthen joint efforts in raising awareness about economic, financial, tax, and customs policies, as well as developmental goals. He also noted Egypt’s commitment to providing high-quality training opportunities in economic and financial policies for young media professionals and journalists.
Additionally, Kouchouk pointed out the government’s ongoing efforts to communicate and simplify its initiatives aimed at boosting investment and achieving sustainable growth and development. He expressed interest in expanding fruitful cooperation with filmmakers and drama writers to reinforce national values and enhance civic awareness.

وقال الوزير، فى لقائه مع الدكتور عمرو الليثي رئيس اتحاد إذاعات وتليفزيونات دول منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، نائب رئيس غرفة صناعة السينما، إننا نعمل على تعزيز التعاون المشترك فى نشر الوعى الاقتصادي والمالى والضريبي والجمركي والأهداف التنموية.
أضاف الوزير، أننا مهتمون بتوفير فرص تدريبية متميزة فى السياسات الاقتصادية والمالية لشباب الإعلاميين والصحفيين، لافتًا إلى أننا نعمل على شرح وتبسيط جهود الحكومة المصرية فى تحفيز الاستثمار وتحقيق النمو والتنمية المستدامة.
أوضح وزير المالية أننا نتطلع إلى آفاق جديدة للتعاون المثمر مع صنَّاع السينما، وكتَّاب الدراما فى ترسيخ القيم الوطنية، وتنمية الوعي الوطني.
