MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A multi-million dollar investment is being made in multiple communities across Alabama. n nFollowing a speech at the Economic Development Association of Alabama on Monday, Governor Kay Ivey announced $25.9 million in funding has been allocated to help with economic and infrastructure development across 15 industrial parks, sites and facilities. n nThe allocations, made by the Renewal of Alabama Commission, are part of the 2025 Growing Alabama program. n nAccording to the governor’s office, the goal of the program is to enhance the competitiveness of Alabama’s industrial and strategic assets by investing heavily in their development. n n“Growing Alabama is one of the most effective tools we have to strengthen our economic foundation and prepare communities — both large and small — for future growth,” said Gov. Ivey. “These investments are paving the way for high-quality jobs, business expansion and long-term prosperity across every corner of our state.” n nThe 2025 Growing Alabama awardees include: n nCity of Prattville – $4.9 million: Prattville South Industrial Park n nAlabama State Port Authority – $3.55 million: Montgomery Intermodal Container Transfer Facility n nDothan Industrial Development Board – $3.26 million: Houston County Distribution Park n nMobile Airport Authority – $2.5 million: Brookley Expansion Site n nCleburne County Commission – $2 million: MC3 Property n nLake Martin Industrial Development Authority – $2 million: industrial site improvements n nCalhoun County Economic Development Council – $2 million: industrial site development n nCity of Hamilton – $1.47 million: Hamilton I-22 Industrial Park. n nCraig Field Airport & Industrial Authority – $1.26 million: Craig Field Industrial Park n nJasper Industrial Development Board – $949,150: Jasper Industrial Park n nOpelika Industrial Development Authority – $921,310: Opelika Innovation & Technology Park n nCity of Cullman – $750,000: Frank Research and Technology Park n nSouth Dallas Industrial Development Authority – $186,025: South Dallas Industrial Park n nCity of Ozark – $150,000: Ozark Airport Industrial Site n nOzark-Dale County Economic Development Corporation – $24,856: Ozark Industrial Park n nThe growing Alabama program has become a center piece in Gov.
