Community Coffee Chat with Amherst’s New Planning and Economic Development Director

The Town of Amherst is hosting a community engagement event featuring Town Manager Paul Bockelman and Jeff Bagg, the newly appointed Planning and Economic Development Director. Scheduled for Friday, December 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the gathering will take place at Masuda’s Cafe, offering residents a casual setting to connect with local leadership. n nBagg officially begins his role at the start of December, returning to Amherst after previously serving as a Senior Planner from 2008 to 2016. In his new position, he will manage land use planning and permitting, lead both immediate and long-term planning initiatives, and oversee economic development strategies. His return brings over ten years of additional experience from both public and private sector roles in municipal planning. n nDuring the event, Bagg aims to reconnect with the community and discuss his vision for inclusive and sustainable growth.
