A recent meeting highlighted the progress of Egypt’s Conditional Cash Transfer Program, “Takaful and Karama,” presented by Rafeat Shafiq, Assistant to the Minister of Social Solidarity for social protection, safety net support initiatives, economic empowerment, and human development, as well as the program’s executive director. Since Dr. Maya Morsi assumed leadership of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, an additional one million individuals have joined the initiative. Over the years, the number of families receiving financial assistance has grown significantly, rising from 1.7 million households in 2015 to 4.7 million by 2025, with 75 percent of beneficiaries being women and 25 percent men. To date, approximately 3.36 million families have graduated from the program, bringing the total number of households that have received cash aid since its inception in 2015 to 8.1 million. This reflects sustained efforts to expand social support and reduce poverty through targeted economic inclusion strategies.

هذا وقد شهد الاجتماع استعراض الأستاذ رأفت شفيق مساعد وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي للحماية الاجتماعية وبرامج دعم شبكات الأمان الاجتماعي والتمكين الاقتصادي والتنمية البشرية والمدير التنفيذي لبرنامج تكافل وكرامة n nإنجازات برنامج الدعم النقدي المشروط ” تكافل وكرامة”، حيث منذ تولي الدكتورة مايا مرسي وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي انضم مليون مستفيد جديد للبرنامج، وتضاعف بمرور السنوات عدد مستفيدي الدعم النقدي من1,7 مليون أسرة في عام 2015 إلي 4.7 مليون أسرة في عام 2025 (75 % إناث، 25% ذكور)، في الوقت الذي تخارج وخرج منهم حتي تاريخه 3,36 مليون أسرة، ليبلغ إجمالي الأسر التي حصلت علي المساعدات النقدية علي مدار عمر البرنامج منذ إطلاقه في 2015 حتي تاريخه 8,1 مليون أسرة مستفيدة.
