(KUMV) – Montana Governor Greg Gianforte held a fireside chat with other governors during an economic summit in Bozeman. n nHe, alongside the governors of Wyoming, Nebraska and Puerto Rico, discussed how they are addressing the need for more reliable and domestic energy. n nThey said they’re seeing much more support from the federal government since the Trump Administration took over. n n“Totally night and day considering the previous administration, and that’s helping us. We want to make best use of that access to advance energy policies in our states,” said Gianforte. n nWhile he was unable to show up in person, Energy Secretary Chris Wright left a message promising to unleash American energy and revitalize the coal industry. n n“We want the United States building again. Building big things, building power plants, pipelines, transmission lines and data centers. These are the foundations for our lasting prosperity,” said Wright. n nThe summit also had several panels discussing the growth of AI.
