On the sidelines of the UNCTAD conference in Geneva, Iraqi Trade Minister Dr. Aithar Dawood Al-Ghariri met with his Omani counterpart, Mr. Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, to discuss ways to strengthen economic cooperation and increase bilateral trade volume.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both officials to explore avenues for enhancing commercial ties between Iraq and Oman, focusing on removing trade barriers and identifying new sectors for collaboration.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of deepening economic relations through joint initiatives and greater private sector engagement.
Discussions also touched on regional trade dynamics and the role of multilateral forums in supporting inclusive economic growth.
