The Linn County Board of Supervisors has opened the application process for its annual Economic and Community Development Fund, which funds initiatives that promote economic growth and enhance residents’ quality of life.
This competitive grant program is available to eligible organizations based in Linn County or those operating a branch within the county. This year, $100,000 in funding is available for distribution.
To qualify for funding, projects or programs must provide direct benefits to Linn County residents. According to county guidelines, preference will be given to programmatic and capital projects rather than general operating support.
Applications that emphasize economic growth or community development, demonstrate a clear return on investment, avoid duplicating existing efforts, and include a sustainability plan beyond county funding will be prioritized.
