Milei Meets with Spanish Business Leaders in Madrid to Discuss Economic Reforms

Argentine President Javier Milei held a meeting with international and Spanish business leaders in Madrid, outlining the economic direction of his government’s program. A group of key industry executives from sectors such as energy, real estate, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, distribution, and financial services listened as Milei explained the ongoing structural reforms with “clarity and conviction,” according to an official statement from the Argentine Presidency. \nMilei emphasized public debt recovery, free-market policies, legal security, and investment attraction as the cornerstones of his administration. He argued that Argentina is moving away from decades of decline towards a model based on respect for private property, permanent fiscal balance, and openness to trade and investment. \nFollowing his presentation, Milei engaged in a “fruitful exchange of ideas” with the business leaders, who expressed growing interest in participating in Argentina’s recovery and transformation, as reported by the Casa Rosada.
