Ahmed Khouk, Egypt’s Minister of Finance, emphasized the critical role of media in advancing economic integration among Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states, according to a recent ministry statement. During a meeting with Dr. Amr El-Leithy, Chairman of the Union of Radio and Television Stations of OIC Countries and Deputy Chairman of the Cinema Industry Chamber, the minister underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation to raise awareness on economic, financial, tax, and customs policies, as well as development goals.
He further noted that Egypt is committed to providing high-quality training opportunities in economic and financial policies for young media professionals and journalists. He highlighted efforts to clearly communicate and simplify the Egyptian government’s initiatives aimed at stimulating investment and achieving sustainable growth and development.
Additionally, the minister expressed interest in expanding collaboration with filmmakers and drama writers to reinforce national values and enhance civic awareness.
