Parliament member Evelyn Motea, a member of the House of Representatives’ Industry Committee, praised Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly’s decision to launch the Strategic Financial System Program for Economic Empowerment. She emphasized that the initiative arrives at a critical juncture to strengthen domestic manufacturing and enable marginalized communities to enter the labor market and contribute to production.
The program aims to establish a supportive economic environment for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by offering accessible financing mechanisms and comprehensive financial and banking services. According to Motea, this shift allows social assistance to be transformed into tangible tools for production, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Egypt’s economy.
Linking the new financial framework with social protection initiatives and the “Takaful and Karama” fund ensures precise targeting of eligible beneficiaries and encourages them to engage in productive work rather than relying solely on cash handouts. This reflects the government’s broader strategy of building an inclusive economy rooted in community participation and sustainable development.
Motea concluded by highlighting that the initiative marks a practical step toward empowering women, youth, artisans, rural entrepreneurs, and small-scale industrialists. وأوضحت متي في تصريح خاص لـ صدي البلد أن البرنامج يسهم في خلق بيئة اقتصادية داعمة للمشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة ومتناهية الصغر، عبر توفير آليات تمويل ميسرة وخدمات مالية ومصرفية متكاملة، وهو ما يفتح المجال أمام تحويل الدعم الاجتماعي إلى أدوات إنتاج حقيقية تعزز من تنافسية الاقتصاد المصري.
وأضافت عضو لجنة الصناعة أن ربط المنظومة الجديدة ببرامج الحماية الاجتماعية وصندوق “تكافل وكرامة” يضمن استهدافًا دقيقًا للفئات المستحقة ويحفزها على العمل والإنتاج بدلًا من الاعتماد على الدعم النقدي فقط، مشيرة إلى أن ذلك يعكس توجه الدولة نحو بناء اقتصاد شامل قائم على المشاركة المجتمعية والتنمية المستدامة.
واختتمت إيفلين متي تصريحها بالتأكيد على أن البرنامج الجديد يمثل خطوة عملية في مسار تمكين المرأة والشباب وأصحاب الحرف والمشروعات الريفية والصناعات الصغيرة، بما يدعم خطط الدولة للتصنيع المحلي وتقليل الواردات وخلق فرص عمل حقيقية.
