Prescott Appoints New Economic Development Manager to Drive Growth

The City of Prescott has appointed Tricia Lewis as its new Economic Development Manager, signaling a strategic push to enhance local economic vitality. With over 25 years of experience in economic development, tourism, marketing, and community engagement, Lewis is expected to play a central role in attracting and retaining businesses, advancing workforce development, and building stronger regional partnerships.

Lewis previously served as Tourism and Economic Development Director for Cottonwood, where she elevated the city’s tourism profile and expanded business engagement across the Verde Valley. Her tenure included rebranding efforts for Visit Cottonwood and fostering greater community involvement. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade with the Arizona Department of Transportation as a Senior Community Relations Officer, where she facilitated collaboration between state agencies, municipalities, and local stakeholders.

Although currently residing in Prescott Valley, Lewis has deep roots in Prescott. She founded Lewis Marketing and Public Relations in 2005 and served as the exclusive marketing agency for the World’s Oldest Rodeo® from 2009 to 2021. She remains active in regional civic and business organizations.
