Seoul, June 9 (Yonhap) — The presidential office announced on Sunday that President Lee Jae-myung will hold the second meeting of the Emergency Economic Task Force on June 9, which is expected to discuss the allocation of an additional supplementary budget to boost the domestic economy. \n\nPresident Lee is scheduled to chair the meeting with his aides, relevant authorities, and working-level officials on Monday morning. Economic stimulus measures and details of the second supplementary budget are anticipated to top the agenda. \n\nLee led the first meeting of the task force on his first day in office last week, where he was briefed on the assessment of the domestic economy and the potential impacts of the supplementary budget. \n\nDuring his election campaign, Lee pledged to allocate at least 30 trillion won (US$22.1 billion) in supplementary budget to rejuvenate the sluggish economy. \n\nThe National Assembly approved a supplementary budget bill worth 13.8 trillion won last month, and the supplementary budget is expected to reach at least 20 trillion won. \n\nRep.
