Speaking at a press conference following a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Madbouly noted that the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, led by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, presented final figures showing the gross domestic product achieved an average growth rate of 4.4%, surpassing the targeted 4.2% for the 2024/2025 fiscal year. The final quarter alone recorded a notable expansion of 5%, driven by strong performance in sustainable productive sectors such as manufacturing, tourism, and information technology. Although revenues from the Suez Canal declined due to regional challenges, the overall resilience of Egypt’s economy remained evident, demonstrating its capacity to grow despite global headwinds.

أكد الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، أن المؤشرات الاقتصادية التى تحققت تعد دلالة قوية على أن مصر تسير في الطريق الصحيح لبرنامج الإصلاح الاقتصادي، وأن مردود الإصلاحات بدأ يظهر في استقرار الأسواق والأسعار وتوافر السلع والخدمات ، مشيرًا إلى أن الاحتياطي من النقد الأجنبي في تزايد مستمر، والأهم هو الثقة المتنامية في استقرار الأسعار وسعر الصرف، وهو ما يدعم التوقعات بتحقيق معدلات نمو أفضل خلال العام المالي الجديد مقارنة بالسابق. n nوأضاف الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي ـ خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقده عقب إجتماع الحكومة ، اليوم الخميس ـ أن الحكومة استعرضت خلال اجتماعها الأخير تفاصيل الوضع الاقتصادي، إذ كشفت وزيرة التخطيط والتعاون الدولى الدكتورة رانيا المشاط عن النتائج النهائية لمعدلات النمو في العام المالي 2024/2025، مشيرا الى أن الناتج المحلي الإجمالي حقق متوسط نمو بلغ 4.4% ، متجاوزًا المستهدف البالغ 4.2%. n nوأوضح أن الربع الأخير من العام شهد نموًا لافتًا وصل إلى 5%، وهو ما تحقق بفضل أداء القطاعات الإنتاجية المستدامة مثل الصناعة والسياحة والاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات ، مشيرًا إلى أن هذه المعدلات كان يمكن أن تكون أعلى لولا تراجع إيرادات قناة السويس نتيجة التحديات الإقليمية، وأن ذلك يعكس في الوقت نفسه صلابة الاقتصاد المصري وقدرته على النمو رغم الظروف العالمية.
