Russia is hosting the 10th edition of its Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Forum on June 18, coinciding with the opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The event, organized by the Roscongress Foundation, focuses on fostering international cooperation among SMEs. It provides a platform to discuss key challenges and opportunities facing the sector while enabling direct dialogue between business leaders, government officials, and international partners.
Alexey Valkov, Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of SPIEF, highlighted that the SME Forum is an integral part of SPIEF. He emphasized the adaptability of SMEs in generating local demand and entering new markets quickly, playing a crucial role in building a resilient economy. This year, the forum will address international collaboration, foreign investments, technology transfer, and integration into global value chains.
