Economic development expert Sergio Gusmão Suchodolski joins CPI to support capital mobilization work in Brazil
Rio de Janeiro, July 22, 2025 – Climate Policy Initiative is pleased to announce that Sergio Gusmão Suchodolski is joining as a new Senior Advisor in Brazil. He will support CPI’s capital mobilization work, especially focusing on advancing solutions that drive climate action and economic development.
Suchodolski brings extensive experience working in finance, government, and innovation, having served as CEO of the development banks of São Paulo (DesenvolveSP) and Minas Gerais (BDMG). He will help expand the reach of initiatives such as the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance, the Catalytic Climate Finance Facility, and other key platforms supported by CPI, including the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA).
