Strengthening Economic Ties Between Egypt and Senegal: Egyptian Minister Opens Celta Electrical Appliances Factory

On Friday, July 25, 2025, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty inaugurated the Egyptian-owned Celta factory for manufacturing electrical appliances in Dakar, Senegal. The event was attended by Senegalese Trade and Industry Minister Serigne Jay Diop and several high-ranking Senegalese officials. n nSpeaking at the inauguration, Minister Abdelatty emphasized that the project marks a pivotal step in expanding Egypt’s economic presence across the African continent.
