The event brought together policymakers, business leaders, and investors from Egypt and Oman to strengthen bilateral economic engagement. TransCap, a firm specializing in technical and economic consulting, played an active role in the forum, highlighting potential investment avenues in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, transportation, and petrochemicals. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moneim Hamouda, CEO of TransCap, revealed that the company is currently assessing multiple opportunities in Oman, particularly in infrastructure and logistics. During a prior visit to Oman, he engaged with government investment bodies and reviewed national projects, including the internal Omani railway network and oil sector developments. Further discussions focused on port modernization initiatives at Sohar, Shinas, and Salalah, where plans include establishing petroleum bunkering facilities and refineries. Additional prospects were identified in tourism and real estate, including 18 major developments linked to state-backed initiatives like the Sultan Haitham project and the Blue Port. TransCap also announced a strategic partnership with UAE-based Quality Company to jointly manage large-scale engineering projects, combining financial investment with technical oversight from design through final delivery.
