According to the 2024 Global Competitiveness Annual Report, the UAE advanced three places to rank 7th globally, previously being within the top 10 last year, with the following performance highlights:

In terms of foreign investments, according to the June 2024 UNCTAD report, the UAE ranked second globally after the United States in new foreign direct investment projects in 2023, with a total of 1,323 projects showing 33% growth.

وفي التقرير السنوي للتنافسية العالمية 2024، تقدمت الإمارات 3 مراتب إلى المركز السابع عالميًا، بعد أن كانت ضمن قائمة العشرة الأوائل العام الماضي، وجاء أداؤها على النحو التالي:

جاءت دولة الإمارات المركز الأول عالميًا في تقرير المرصد العالمي لريادة الأعمال للعام الثالث على التوالي، بمعدل 7.7، وهو الأعلى في تاريخ التقرير، والمركز 17 عالميًا والأول إقليميًا في مؤشر التنمية البشرية 2023-2024 الصادر عن الأمم المتحدة.
كما حلت في المركز الأول عالميًا في مؤشر البنية التحتية للاتصالات بنسبة 100%، بحسب تقرير الأمم المتحدة للحكومة الإلكترونية 2024، والمركز العاشر عالميًا في مؤشر رأس المال البشري بعد أن قفزت الإمارات 34 مرتبة خلال عام واحد.

ريادة في الاستثمارات الأجنبية
بحسب تقرير “الأونكتاد” الصادر في يونيو/حزيران 2024، جاءت الإمارات في المركز الثاني عالميًا بعد الولايات المتحدة في عدد مشروعات الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر الجديدة لعام 2023، بإجمالي 1323 مشروعًا ونمو بنسبة 33%.
كما سجلت تدفقات استثمارية بقيمة 30.7 مليار دولار، وبلغ رصيد الاستثمارات الإماراتية الخارجية 262 مليار دولار.
