Al-Otaibi stressed the need for significant efforts to advance the air transportation sector, particularly in infrastructure, fleet modernization, and logistical services. The DGCA chief revealed that Kuwait has already invested approximately five billion US dollars in upgrading infrastructure and launching major projects, including a new runway, specialized buildings, a new watchtower, and improved ground services to boost operational efficiency.
Mohannad Al-Ayar, Board Chairman of KAEPA, expressed optimism about the future of Kuwaiti aviation, provided it is developed under an integrated strategic vision.
