KUWAIT, July 2 (KUNA) — The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has recognized the Kuwait Red Crescent Society’s (KRCS) significant efforts in managing humanitarian crises and supporting populations affected by conflicts and natural disasters, including those in the Gaza Strip. Christian Cortez, IFRC Deputy Regional Director, highlighted these contributions following a visit to KRCS headquarters and discussions with KRCS Chairman Ambassador Khaled Al-Maghames.
During the meeting, Cortez emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between IFRC and KRCS in humanitarian and relief operations.
