KUWAIT, June 30 (KUNA) — The Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation (KAPF) has introduced a new electronic endowment service called “E-Waqf,” accessible through the Sahel application.
KAPF Acting Secretary-General Amal Al-Dallal explained that the service streamlines all endowment procedures electronically, ensuring security and ease of use.
She emphasized that the foundation remains committed to advancing its digital transformation strategy and improving institutional performance in alignment with Kuwait Vision 2035, which envisions positioning Kuwait as a regional and international financial and commercial hub.
Al-Dallal highlighted that integrating digital technologies into government operations and community services is a crucial step toward enhancing efficiency, transparency, and public confidence. These efforts, she added, support national goals related to sustainable development and the transition to a smart and interconnected government.
Additionally, she announced a direct digital integration with the Ministry of Justice, enabling KAPF to exchange official inquiries and responses electronically regarding the validity of endowment deeds, in coordination with the Departments of Sharia Documentation and Real Estate Registration.
Furthermore, Al-Dallal revealed a new feature allowing real-time tracking of endowers’ status, made possible through integration with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), ensuring regular and automated database updates.
