Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, emphasized that the Kingdom’s co-chairmanship with France of the international conference on resolving the Palestinian issue and implementing the two-state solution reflects its consistent stance on Palestinian rights and ongoing support for a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
Speaking to the Saudi Press Agency, he noted that the conference, held this week at the United Nations headquarters in New York, continues Saudi efforts to promote international peace and security, end Palestinian suffering, and halt violence and conflict with the Israeli occupation.
He highlighted that the conference aims to reinvigorate peace efforts and implement international resolutions calling for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, thereby enhancing stability and opening avenues for development.
Additionally, he mentioned that the conference supports the international coalition for implementing the two-state solution, launched in September 2024 by Saudi Arabia, Norway, and the European Union, continuing the work of the Arab-Islamic ministerial committee to end Palestinian suffering and achieve lasting peace.

السعودية: مؤتمر تنفيذ حل الدولتين يعكس دعم المملكة الثابت للسلام العادل
أكد فيصل بن فرحان، وزير الخارجية السعودي، أن رئاسة المملكة بالشراكة مع فرنسا للمؤتمر الدولي حول تسوية القضية الفلسطينية وتنفيذ حل الدولتين، تأتي انطلاقًا من موقفها الثابت تجاه حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني، ودعمها المتواصل للسلام العادل والشامل في الشرق الأوسط.
وأوضح في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء السعودية أن المؤتمر، المنعقد هذا الأسبوع في مقر الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك، يُعد امتدادًا لجهود المملكة في دعم الأمن والسلم الدوليين، وإنهاء معاناة الفلسطينيين، ووقف العنف والصراع مع الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
وأشار إلى أن المؤتمر يهدف إلى تحريك جهود السلام وتنفيذ قرارات الشرعية الدولية الداعية لإقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقلة على حدود 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، بما يعزز الاستقرار ويفتح المجال للتنمية.
وأضاف أن المؤتمر يدعم التحالف الدولي لتنفيذ حل الدولتين، الذي أُطلق في سبتمبر 2024 بمبادرة من السعودية والنرويج والاتحاد الأوروبي، ويستكمل جهود اللجنة الوزارية العربية الإسلامية لإنهاء معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني وتحقيق السلام الدائم.
