Innes McFee serves as the Chief Economist for Macro and Investor Services at Oxford Economics, leading global forecasting and economic analysis from the firm’s London office. His responsibilities include directing the Global Macro Forecast and Global Macro Service, shaping strategic economic outlooks used by investors and institutions. Before joining Oxford Economics in 2017, McFee spent six years at Lloyds Banking Group as a Senior Economist, where he developed economic models for internal planning, stress testing, and IFRS9 compliance. He also enhanced the bank’s capabilities in modeling macroeconomic trends and UK financial markets, while advising corporate treasury on evolving financial conditions. Earlier in his career, he worked at HM Treasury, managing aspects of the UK’s foreign exchange reserves, analyzing U.S. economic developments, and contributing to G20 macroeconomic policy discussions. McFee earned a first-class honors degree in Economics from Durham University and a master’s degree in the subject from Warwick University.
Tomas, a Senior Economist within the eurozone division of Macro and Investor Services, leads economic coverage for Central and Eastern Europe. He contributes to thematic studies on the eurozone economy and is actively involved in advancing data-centric forecasting methods. His work integrates alternative data sources and high-frequency indicators to improve the accuracy and timeliness of economic predictions. Tomas holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Glasgow and a Master of Science in Economics from University College London. His professional background includes roles as a data scientist at KPMG and as an advisor in the European Parliament, blending technical analytics with policy insight.
Debra D’Agostino established the Thought Leadership division at Oxford Economics in 2011 and currently leads it as managing director. She manages a worldwide team focused on producing innovative research in collaboration with progressive global organizations. Their work spans topics such as digital transformation, emerging technologies, workforce dynamics, leadership, risk strategy, and corporate finance. In addition to her leadership in thought leadership, Debra directs business development for the firm’s consulting arm in the Americas, co-manages regional operations, and sits on the company’s global Senior Management Team. She previously led the Americas business research division at the Economist Intelligence Unit and served as an editor and writer at CIO Insight, a prominent technology and business strategy publication launched under Ziff Davis Media. Debra holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Bianca supports the technology team by managing cross-functional initiatives. Her expertise lies in development economics and empirical research. She has held roles as an intern and short-term consultant at the World Bank, taught economics at the University of Johannesburg, and worked as a research assistant for various economists and academic researchers. She also co-founded the Economic Development and Well-being Research Group (EDWRG), focusing on inclusive growth and policy impact. Innes oversees the activities of the Macro & Investor Services teams globally, including the Global Macro Forecast and Global Macro Service. n nInnes joined Oxford Economics in 2017 after 6 years at Lloyds Banking Group as a Senior Economist. At Lloyds Innes was responsible for the economic scenarios underpinning the Group’s internal planning and stress testing; analysis of key risks; and developing Lloyds’ approach to multiple economic scenarios for IFRS9. In addition, Innes’ role included developing the Group’s capability in modelling macroeconomic fundamentals and UK banking markets and advising the Group Corporate Treasury on financial market developments. n nPrior to joining Lloyds Innes was an Economic Advisor at HM Treasury where his roles included management of the UK’s foreign currency reserves; US economist; and G20 macroeconomic policy advisor.
