27 Dallas Billionaires Featured on Forbes’ 2025 List of World’s Richest People

Forbes has released its 2025 list of the world’s billionaires, revealing that the globe’s wealthiest individuals have never been richer. Among them are 27 billionaires from Dallas. Leading the Dallas contingent is Elaine Marshall and her family, ranked 67th globally with a net worth of $28.3 billion. Forbes attributes this wealth to her ownership of approximately 16% of Koch Inc., inherited after her husband’s passing in 2006.

Another notable Dallas billionaire is Lyndal Stephens Greth and her family, ranked 77th with a net worth of $25.8 billion. Greth’s wealth stems from the sale of Endeavor Energy Resources, a private oil production firm founded by her late father, Autry Stephens, which was sold to Diamondback Energy for $26 billion in 2024.

Other prominent Dallas billionaires include Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, whose net worth rose to $16.6 billion; banking and real estate mogul Andy Beal at $12 billion; and money manager Ken Fisher at $11.2 billion. The list also features hotel and investment guru Robert Rowling, oil and gas tycoon Kelcy Warren, and media magnate Mark Cuban.

Notably absent from the 2025 list are private equity kingpin David Bonderman and oil baron W. Herbert Hunt, both of whom passed away in 2024. Meanwhile, Walmart heiress Alice Walton became the wealthiest woman in the world, surpassing Françoise Bettencourt Meyers of L’Oreal Beauty. Elon Musk retained his position as the world’s richest person, with a net worth of $342 billion.
