An American Airlines Boeing 737-800 flight was evacuated after catching fire at Denver International Airport on Thursday. The aircraft, which was traveling from Colorado Springs to Dallas, was diverted to Denver shortly after takeoff due to reported engine vibrations. While taxiing to the gate, the engine caught fire, prompting an emergency evacuation. The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. local time, with 172 passengers and six crew members on board. All passengers were able to exit the plane with only minor injuries reported during the evacuation. American Airlines expressed gratitude to the crew, Denver team, and first responders for prioritizing safety. The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) is currently investigating the incident.
