The Arab League hosted the closing ceremony of the third edition of the Arab Innovation and Investment Forum on Sunday. The event, which began on Saturday at the Digital Egypt Creativity Center (Cretaiva) in Giza, was held under the slogan “Arab Leadership… Sustainable Investment.”
According to a statement released by the Arab League on Sunday, the forum aimed to support and enhance joint Arab economic and investment cooperation, as well as promote entrepreneurship and innovation across Arab nations.
Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Malki, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Economic Affairs Sector, stated that the event was organized under the auspices of the Arab League in collaboration with the “Youth Can” Sustainable Development Foundation, along with Egypt’s Ministries of Youth and Sports and Industry and Trade. The forum served as a comprehensive regional platform bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, executives, government entities, and experts to support sustainable innovation and investment in the Arab world, promoting a transition towards a knowledge-based sustainable economy.
In his concluding remarks, Al-Malki highlighted the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship as essential pillars for economic and social growth, playing a vital role in supporting collective efforts towards sustainable development for Arab nations. The forum also aimed to improve economic performance and achieve comprehensive development amid current regional and international crises and changes.
This forum acted as a strategic platform to activate innovation in development and highlight the potential of Arab youth as a key driver of economic growth by building effective links between innovators, promising projects, supporters, and decision-makers across various sectors. This event reaffirmed the Arab countries’ commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, encouraging responsible investment, and enhancing regional cooperation to address current developmental challenges and open new horizons for economic growth from a more inclusive and sustainable perspective.

الجامعة العربية تستضيف ختام فعاليات منتدى “الابتكار والاستثمار العربي”
استضافت جامعة الدول العربية، اليوم الأحد، ختام فعاليات النسخة الثالثة لمنتدى الابتكار والاستثمار العربي، الذي انطلق أمس السبت، بمركز إبداع مصر الرقمية (كريتيفا) بالجيزة، تحت شعار “ريادة عربية.. استثمار مستدام”.
وذكر بيان صدر، اليوم، عن الجامعة العربية، أن عقد هذا المنتدى يأتي في إطار دعم وتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري البيني العربي المشترك ودعماً لريادة الأعمال والابتكار بالدول العربية.
وصرح السفير الدكتور علي بن إبراهيم المالكي الأمين العام المساعد رئيس قطاع الشؤون الاقتصادية، بأنه تم تنظيم هذه الفعالية تحت رعاية وتنظيم جامعة الدول العربية وبالتعاون مع مؤسسة “شباب قادرون” للتنمية المستدامة ووزارتي الشباب والرياضة والصناعة والتجارة بجمهورية مصر العربية التي تُعد منصة إقليمية متكاملة تجمع بين رواد الأعمال، المستثمرين، القيادات التنفيذية، الجهات الحكومية، والخبراء بهدف دعم الابتكار والاستثمار المستدام في العالم العربي، وتعزيز التحول نحو اقتصاد مستدام قائم على المعرفة.
وأشار في ختام أعمال المنتدى إلى اهتمام الدول العربية بالابتكار وريادة الأعمال لكونه اليوم ركيزة أساسية للنمو والتنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، لما له من دور مهم وأساسي لدعم الجهود المبذولة على المستوى الجماعي للتنمية المستدامة لشعوب الدول العربية وكذلك لتطوير الأداء الاقتصادي وتحقيق التنمية الشاملة في ظل الأزمات والمتغيرات الإقليمية والدولية الحالية.
ويشكل هذا المنتدى منصة استراتيجية لتفعيل دور الابتكار في التنمية، وإبراز طاقات الشباب العربي كمحرك رئيسي للنمو الاقتصادي، من خلال بناء روابط فعالة بين أصحاب الأفكار والمشاريع الواعدة، والجهات الداعمة وصنّاع القرار في مختلف القطاعات، كما يأتي هذا الحدث تأكيدًا على التزام الدول العربية بتمكين رواد الأعمال، وتحفيز الاستثمار المسؤول، وتعزيز التعاون الإقليمي في مواجهة التحديات التنموية الراهنة، وفتح آفاق جديدة للنمو الاقتصادي من منظور أكثر شمولاً واستدامة.
