Atlanta ranks last among the 50 largest U.S. cities for economic mobility. In order to better understand why, and what we as a city can do about it, the foundation convened a group of local leaders at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Jan. 13 and invited Harvard researcher Raj Chetty to share insights from his groundbreaking work. n nDuring the convening, the foundation announced a $75 million grant to Blue Meridian Partners to support a five-year economic mobility initiative in Atlanta and select smaller Georgia communities.
