Charges Re-announced Against Alleged Tesla Arsonists

Attorney General Pam Bondi has re-announced charges against individuals accused of vandalizing Tesla properties. According to a Department of Justice press release, charges have been brought against three individuals allegedly involved in the violent destruction of Tesla properties using Molotov cocktails.

Lucy Nelson faces charges of malicious destruction of property and firearms, filed on March 5th in Colorado. Adam Lansky was charged on the same day in Oregon with illegally possessing an unregistered destructive device. Daniel Clarke-Pounder was arrested and charged on March 14th in relation to an arson incident at a Tesla charging station in South Carolina.

Despite Bondi’s emphasis on ending crime without consequence, no new information or updates regarding the investigations into the coordination and funding of these crimes have been released. The latest findings come from a report by 404 Media, which revealed how law enforcement utilized license plate readers and social media posts to identify suspects.
