The British food-delivery company Deliveroo announced that it received an acquisition proposal from DoorDash earlier this month. DoorDash offered to purchase all of Deliveroo’s shares for 1.8 pound sterling ($2.40) each. Deliveroo stated on Friday that it would likely recommend the offer to its shareholders if the proposal is finalized under the stated terms.
