Abdelatty emphasized the need to maintain a sustainable ceasefire and implement the second phase of the U.S. presidential plan, reaffirming the importance of UN Security Council Resolution 2803. He called for the deployment of an international interim stabilization force to monitor the truce, protect civilians, and enable Palestinian forces to assume law enforcement responsibilities in Gaza. n nHe briefed his British counterpart on Egypt’s vision for a temporary transitional phase ahead of the Palestinian Authority’s return to Gaza, stressing the necessity of realizing a Palestinian state in line with international legitimacy and resolutions.
