Regarding investment developments in Sinai and the Canal cities, Dr. Shaib confirmed that public investment in these areas has significantly increased, rising from 5.9 billion pounds in 2013 to 60 billion pounds in the latest budget, reflecting the state’s commitment to fair resource distribution and development of these regions, which possess vast tourism, industrial, and mineral resources.

وأشار إلى أن البنية التحتية الخاصة بقطاع النقل تشمل أيضًا تطوير السكك الحديدية، مثل مشروع خط السكك الحديدية بين العريش وطابا، والذي سيسهم في تعزيز التنقل بين البحر الأحمر والمتوسط، وبالتالي دعم الاقتصاد الوطني والأمن في سيناء، كما نوه إلى أن هذا المشروع يعزز من التكامل بين مختلف مناطق مصر ويشكل دعامة أساسية للتنمية الشاملة.
وفيما يخص تطور الاستثمارات في سيناء ومدن القناة، أكد دكتور بلال أن حجم الاستثمارات العامة الموجهة لهذه المناطق قد زاد بشكل كبير، حيث كانت 5.9 مليار جنيه في عام 2013، بينما بلغت 60 مليار جنيه في الموازنة الأخيرة، مما يعكس اهتمام الدولة بتوزيع عادل للموارد وتنمية هذه المناطق التي تتمتع بموارد سياحية وصناعية وتعدينية هائلة.
