A recent meeting highlighted the achievements of Egypt’s conditional cash transfer program, “Takaaful and Karama,” presented by Rafeat Shafiq, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Social Protection and Programs Supporting Social Safety Nets, Economic Empowerment, and Human Development, and Executive Director of the program. Since Dr. Maya Morsi assumed leadership of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, one million additional beneficiaries have joined the initiative. Over the years, the number of families receiving cash assistance has grown from 1.7 million in 2015 to 4.7 million by 2025, with 75 percent of recipients being women and 25 percent men. To date, 3.36 million families have graduated from the program, bringing the total number of households that have received financial aid since its launch in 2015 to 8.1 million. This expansion reflects sustained efforts to strengthen social protection mechanisms and support vulnerable populations across Egypt.

هذا وقد شهد الاجتماع استعراض الأستاذ رأفت شفيق مساعد وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي للحماية الاجتماعية وبرامج دعم شبكات الأمان الاجتماعي والتمكين الاقتصادي والتنمية البشرية والمدير التنفيذي لبرنامج تكافل وكرامة n nإنجازات برنامج الدعم النقدي المشروط ” تكافل وكرامة”، حيث منذ تولي الدكتورة مايا مرسي وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي انضم مليون مستفيد جديد للبرنامج، وتضاعف بمرور السنوات عدد مستفيدي الدعم النقدي من1,7 مليون أسرة في عام 2015 إلي 4.7 مليون أسرة في عام 2025 (75 % إناث، 25% ذكور)، في الوقت الذي تخارج وخرج منهم حتي تاريخه 3,36 مليون أسرة، ليبلغ إجمالي الأسر التي حصلت علي المساعدات النقدية علي مدار عمر البرنامج منذ إطلاقه في 2015 حتي تاريخه 8,1 مليون أسرة مستفيدة.
