Ford Increases Prices on Three Models Amid Tariff Pressures

Ford Motor Company has announced price increases for three models manufactured in Mexico, citing pressures from tariffs imposed by President Trump. The price hikes affect the Bronco Sport, Maverick pickup, and Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, with increases of up to $2,000 for certain models. According to Ford, the Bronco Sport Heritage series saw a $600 increase, while the Maverick XLT AWD rose by $700. A spokesperson stated that these adjustments are part of the company’s usual mid-year pricing strategy, combined with the impact of tariffs. Despite these changes, Ford’s employee pricing program, “From America, For America,” remains active. The company estimates that Trump’s tariff policies could cost it approximately $1.5 billion in 2025. Vehicles produced after May 2 will be subject to the new prices, though existing inventory at dealerships will not be affected.
