KUWAIT, Aug 19 (KUNA) — His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issued a decree on Tuesday formalizing the appointment of the board of directors for the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA), effective for a four-year period, with the possibility of a single renewal.
The newly formed board includes the following members:
1. Khaled Mohammad Abdullah Al-Zamel, designated as Chairman
2. Manal Khaled Saleh Al-Mazyad, serving as Vice Chairman
3. Waleed Issa Abdullah Al-Hasawi
4. Dhari Adel Abdulrahman Al-Huwail
5. Zainab Monjed Al-Bader Al-Qenaei
6. Abdullah Fahad Abdullah Al-Khuzam
According to the official directive, the Minister of State for Communication Affairs, Omar Al-Omar, is responsible for implementing the decree once it is published in the official gazette.
