KUWAIT, July 2 (KUNA) — The Kuwait Ministry of Justice reported on Wednesday that a total of 150 real estate transactions took place this week, amounting to KD 151 million (USD 498 million). nAccording to statistics released on the ministry’s official website, there were 95 private real estate transactions valued at KD 39 million (approximately USD 128.7 million) between June 22nd and June 30th. nInvestment real estate transactions followed with 48 deals totaling KD 54 million (around USD 178 million), while commercial real estate transactions reached KD 52 million (approximately USD 171.6 million), according to the ministry. nAdditionally, real estate transactions in the crafting sector amounted to roughly KD 2 million (USD 6.6 million), and coastal line property deals totaled KD 4 million (around USD 13.2 million). nIn terms of geographical distribution, the capital district recorded 22 private real estate transactions, 11 investment deals, and two commercial property transactions. In Hawally governorate, 19 private real estate, 12 investment, and two commercial property transactions were completed. nFarwaniya district saw 12 private real estate and seven investment property deals, while Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate recorded nine private real estate contracts. In Al-Ahmadi governorate, 20 private real estate transactions were finalized. nThe ministry’s statement also noted that Jahra governorate witnessed 13 private real estate transactions, with only one investment property deal recorded.
