Kuwait PM Urges Swift Implementation of Agreements with China

KUWAIT, July 3 (KUNA) — His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on Thursday, called upon relevant ministers to expedite the implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) signed between Kuwait and China. This directive came during a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister to review the progress of agreements and MoUs signed between the two governments. The 17th session of the committee discussed recent developments related to projects included in the agreements between Kuwait and China, including cooperation on the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port project, the electrical power system, renewable energy development, low-carbon green systems for waste recycling, housing development, environmental infrastructure for wastewater treatment plants, and free and economic zones.
