KUWAIT, June 17 (KUNA) — Ambassador Khaled Al-Maghames, Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to its humanitarian and national responsibilities amidst ongoing regional developments. In an interview with KUNA, Al-Maghames emphasized KRCS’s proactive role in Kuwait’s emergency response efforts, prioritizing citizen safety and collaborating closely with government entities. KRCS has implemented various field and logistical measures, including enhancing the readiness of its Rapid Response Teams and ensuring warehouses are stocked with relief supplies and medical items. Additionally, KRCS is conducting specialized training programs in first aid, disaster response, and International Humanitarian Law in partnership with the Civil Defense.
