He was received by head of the center Brigadier Dr. Rashed Al-Mari who informed him about plans to respond to regional emergencies. A statement by the Foreign Ministry indicated that Minister Al-Yahya lauded the efforts of the GCC emergency center and its role to bolster cooperation amongst regional countries especially in the domain of nuclear and radioactive countermeasures.
