KUWAIT, Aug 19 (KUNA) — A new board of directors has been established for the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) following a decree issued by His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on Tuesday. The board will serve a four-year term, with the possibility of a single renewal. The appointed members are: Khaled Mohammad Abdullah Al-Zamel, who will serve as chairman; Manal Khaled Saleh Al-Mazyad, vice chairman; Waleed Issa Abdullah Al-Hasawi; Dhari Adel Abdulrahman Al-Huwail; Zainab Monjed Al-Bader Al-Qenaei; and Abdullah Fahad Abdullah Al-Khuzam. The directive assigns Omar Al-Omar, Minister of State for Communication Affairs, the responsibility of enacting the decision once it appears in the official gazette.
